Drawing Princesses

Sophia, You and I had a nice time drawing pictures together today. While we were making pictures, we practiced asking, "Can I ....?" You asked me if you could add eyelashes to my picture and I asked you if you could make them small. You really listened to what I was asking. When I asked you to draw something, you sometimes drew what I was asking you to draw. Other times, I showed you what I meant. Do you remember when I drew toes for Moana? I loved your princesses with the Halloween and Santa costumes. So much fun!

Art - March 22

Sophia drew a picture of a cherry blossom tree today. She said the two girls were climbing like monkeys. The other girl was sad because she couldn't climb the tree. Sophia said it was three sisters. We asked her if it was her family and she said that it was some other sisters. Sophia has a great ability to tell a story through her pictures. She is very specific about her color usage and her faces are so detailed, clearly showing emotion.
